Kale Orman (Erie, Ill./Erie) threw a two-hitter in Game 1 and the Carl Sandburg College baseball team stayed unbeaten in Arrowhead Conference play as it swept Kishwaukee 17-1 and 12-3 on Tuesday to finish off a season sweep of the Kougars.

Key Moment
Already up 3-0 in the third inning, the Chargers connected for three straight two-out hits to extend their lead to six runs. Isaac Riegler (McLean, Ill./Olympia) doubled to left to plate Devon Ballard (Fulton, Ill./Fulton). Braedon Blackford tripled him home in the next at-bat, and Noah Hoepfner (East Moline, Ill./United Township) drove in Blackford with a single to center.

Sandburg Standouts
Orman dominated on the mound while Jordan Chandler (Erie, Ill./Erie) had a perfect day at the plate. Orman went the distance, allowing one run on two hits while striking out 10 and walking one. He threw 56 of his 89 pitches for strikes.

Chandler knocked in three runs while going 5 for 5 at the dish. The sophomore third baseman doubled in the first and singled in the second, third, fifth and sixth.
